How does safety and collision avoidance work around people?

Nova Beings are certified under ISO 13482 (safety requirements for personal care robots). With 128-point capacitive touch sensing, multi-axis torque limits, and a hardware ASIL-D safety coprocessor, the robot enters passive compliance mode within 10 milliseconds on unexpected human contact.

What happens if maintenance or repairs are required?
